AZ is an open carry state. Crooks know this too. It has definitely helped with crime here. I love these small towns on 66, brings you back to a simple time. I can only imagine living out there 60-80 years ago when 66 was hummin.

Love this thread. I logged many miles on Rt66 on family vacations as a kid. I lived near it in San Bernardino Calif. for a while as well.
