I bought a Sentinel Motor Oil sign from Andy (Itsasickness) on about the 9th of Dec. and it was shipped from St. Louis, Missouri on the 11th. I waited a few days and PM'ed Andy to see if he had a tracking number. Andy wrote back (Andy has been great this whole time) and said he would look for it, he thought he lost it. After about a week and a half, i wrote Andy again and he said he was still looking and offered my money back, i said no and lets give it some more time. Andy found the tracking number yesterday and we both checked on it! LOL This thing has traveled 4116 miles from St. Louis, Missouri to Bell Garden, California from there to Cincinnati, Ohio and then to Louisville, Kentucky. It was only 258 miles from my house two weeks ago! So today they tried to deliver it to my shop (Christmas eve) and we were closed! LOL And they say the Post Office is losing money. NO! Thanks Andy…….

If you do, send them to DB for a discount to IG.
4,000+ miles in 13 days means he can leave 7 days before the start of the show... AND arrive on time! laugh laugh laugh laugh

I ALWAYS arrive on time & when I dragged a boat I arrived on Monday so I'd get a double parking spot!

My intention was not to imply you were late for IG or any other event. It was meant to pass on the frequent FLYER miles.

I don't fly, except in Neb & still on 4 wheels!
Guess you have never tried to Carry-on a pump or large sign!
About 10yrs ago, company I worked for did a 24hr turn around to Las Vegas by bus. I took GaspumpRob as a quest & we went pump hunting [his in-laws in Vegas loaned us a car]. I bought a Complete sq 850 & loaded it on the bus for return home. Can't do THAT on a plane.

The Starkey traveled back home in a friends pickup truck (6 ft bed with the tailgate down and the bottom still hung out 1' - 1 1/2'). I can't imagine loading that beast in an effin bus OR an 850 for that matter. Brave guys!!

What I still can't understand is how I misplace a receipt in two days. Its all my wifes fault. If she would just leave things where I throw them I'd be able to find them but she feels this need to clean all the time. OCD I think.

The throwing area wouldn't happen to be your garage? Based on the pics you posted we will cut you some slack on not being able to find the receipt. LOL

Makes a guy wonder if they can even read.

My uncle recently sent me a package from in Arkansas. Instead of coming west to New Mexico, It ended up in New York City. Then several weeks later it was found in Mexico City. Not sure of all the places it went but finally after traveling for 2 months it made it back here in New Mexico. crazy

I'll bet your right Phil.

It just showed up! It's got a nice tan and stickers all over it where it's traveled for the last 16 days. LOL I already have a piece cut and tacked in place. I'm only going to paint whats missing and not a total restore.

No, It's spot puddy. I'll go over it a couple times and then use a Hi Build Primer.

Primed both sides and while it was soft, i took a thinner rag and cleaned most of the way back to the porcelain edge. Tomorrow i'll sand the primed areas and fill a few more spots with spot putty and it will be ready for paint.
