Looks to be a very interesting piece. Appears to be complete and should make a very attractive wall display! I'd like to see pictures when you're finished with the restoration.

Definetly, those European Twin cylinder dispensers had a lot of "Charm " ! I would love to know the purpose of having the "Two Cylinders " was though . Here in the U. S , Fry Equipment - "SUPOSSEDLY " manufactured a pump known as a Super Twin about 1929...........

Gas sign guy: I dont think its any such brand.. my guess is the company who had it on the wall just painted it whatever colour they wanted. Not sure who made it, will know soon enough K.W. Frith: I will post pictures as the restoration process goes on. eshaver: I know there is some single 5 litre cylinder pumps here in norway, but two cylindres i've only seen once before. My guess is as good as yours...

I imagine that unlike 'twin' pumps on an island where cars have access to both sides, this wall twin allowed the customer to have 5 or 10 litres without having to refill a second 5 if it was to have only one cylinder. Am I correct in that it only has a single hose attachment?

I own several wall pumps with two cylinders and they have a valve in which you can select which cylinder to empty.
Rob
I do not have that one!

eshaver: Satam Dual Pumps is awsome (a lot of pictures pver at petroliana.co.uk). I think i will build a stand for my new pump since i have access to a lasercutter. tons of sheetmetal, welding gear and a big powdercoating system. Dick Bennett: I know of those pics, i posted them Jack Sim: Am not totally sure if this one is a early 1900s pump except from the ad saying so. However the Norwegian Technical Museum have one thats just like mine, except its a single cylinder. The info below their pump says 1920. Here is a pic of that pump.

Its a kerosene pump I think is from a hardvere store and not å gass station. The color is Shell. The pump can be from the 20's or the 60's, they look the same. Hers my BP And ny Standard Norwegian oil and gas Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/377318765978/

Thanks Bippe! I just saw a picture off my pump on Norwegian Technical Museum. This one was a yellow dual pump and it said 1960's But whatever.. its a nice pump. Isnt your mil pump supposed to be blue? The article also said it was made by A. H. Andersson & Co. Here is a picture of it:

The Shell logo on the glas on the pump from Norwegian Technical Museum date it to be from 1960 to 1971. Still a nice pump.
You are right with my Mil pump, there are som blue paint under the red.

Dud sweetie, with google translator, know it alls will know it all...LOL I am curous why wall pumps were developed in Europe but not here. Was/Is it space issues? Did store owners get worried about U.S. drivers hitting their walls? Just wonderin'...

Bippe is right.. these pumps were mainly used for kerosene. Thats also why one cylinder is only about 1.3 gallons. I am pretty sure they had similar pumps in the US, but as everyone knows.. everything is bigger in the US They probably used a visible gas pump for kerosene there

An update on the dual cylinder pump.. I paid for the pump, but the seller, a company in norway called Skrotnissen could not locate the pump so he reimbursed me.. Kinda bumped about that, but whatever.. Nevertheless i found two other pumps that i have in my garage now that i will be restoring, and i will also build a type of cabinet for them so they are not just stuck on a wall Here is the pumps. PS. I will make a new thread with the restoration for those that wanna see..
