I am trying to take the handle off this pump and it wont come off. Isn't it supposed to slide straight off once the inner bolt is removed? Mine looks to have a weld bead on the top and bottom where it fits over the shaft. I'm thinking it may be a little welded to the shaft. Is that a common thing that they may crack where the notch is located? Heated it with the torch but didnt budge.

It might have a steel pin that holds the handle to the shaft. You'll have to drive it out.
