I have acquired a metal one gallon can that
is made of thin steel and has a flexible spout near the bottom. A hole in the bottom of the container, leading to the spout, is capped by a moveable plug operated by a push button system, the thumb button located at the top. It was made in Dayton Ohio, can't make out the company name. Is this a gas station item and if so, what fluid is it for- oil or water? Thanks!

There were also cans that held 5 qt. cans of oil, just like the ones for the qts.
