My question concerns the following two Texaco signs: I know the Sky Chief was made in 12"x 22", 10"x15" and 8"x 15". Was it made in 12"x18" or 8"x 12"? The Sky Chief Marine was made in 12"x 22", 12" x 18" and 8"x 15". Was it ever made in 8"x12"? Thanks any help. Uploaded with ImageShack.us

I believe the answers are no Bill
The 12" X 18" they installed the 4" X 12" tin plate under the black bottom Sky Chief until the 12" X 22 1/4" was made (1956).
The 8" X 12" is now the 8" X 15" Marine
Dan I have never seen a diesel 2 green or a yellow diesel 8" X 12" either...

Doug, thanks for your reply. I suspected that they did not exist even though they are referenced in PCMs Guide to Gas Pump Restoration.

I have never seen a Sky Chief in an 8 x 12" with the red and white bands at the bottom, just the 8 x 15". The one on the left is US while the others are Canadian. I am not aware of the Supreme brand being used in Canada. The far right is 8 x 15" and the other three are 8 x 12". Cheers, Don.
