I went to the local swap meet today in Los Lunas NM and picked up this Kanotex Ethyl lenses in a

Uploaded with ImageShack.us narrow Gill glass body globe in it's original box. Not a bad find for this part of the country. considering Kanotex was not even in New Mexico. According to the books.

Picked it up very reasonable.

Been really busy this week, so I haven't bought much for the collection, but another Old Gasser and I have had a trade in the works for quite a while and we finally got together and made the swap! I ended up with this really rare 16 inch Cities Service truck door plate! I have a couple 16 inch clover shaped plates, but the round one has always escaped me! I also picked up this Occident Elevator grease can at Jody Arthouds when I was traveling back from Idaho! Nice addition to my one pound grease cans!

I had a great couple of days selling and buying at the Red Deer auto swap meet on the weekend. Also enjoyed seeing a lot of old friends and meeting new collectors. It was a lot of work but I am happy with the results. I didn't buy a large amount for the collection but got a few interesting tins and finally got a second Esso Extra lens for my globe. I only made one wrong purchase of an American Motors ATF which I already have, but I can always resell it. It is a good start to the new season now that spring is finally here. Cheers, Don.

Thanks Dave. The Roco ATF was never filled so no top lid and still flanged out at the top. That made it real easy to put on a new ATF lid. Cheers, Don.

Big time congrats on the S+P collection.
Just the Husky pair alone makes it very valuable.
