I'm sure it's not a new topic but I thought I would check with the experts here on Old Gas. I'm not a globe guy but I do own a couple. One of them was recently cracked during shipment which is why I choose not to collect them in quantity.
Does anyone know of someone who has perfected the art of repairing a lens? I heard there used to be someone in Santa Barbara but she has since resigned from doing these kind if reapirs.
Any leads would be appreciated. thanks

I think if it was just a small hole/chip, an injection process similar to what the windshield guys do would work but this is something that needs a glass artist to repair. I did come across am art glass shop but she told the crack would still be quite visible.
Globe guys...any other leads? thanks
