I bought this sign yesterday and I have no idea if this was something someone did to be creative or if it is a real gas price sign. It is hand painted and made by Broyles, Signs?

I googled this, and couldn't read the scan of the newspaper result, but saw a reference to a Grover Broyles, a sign painter in Charleston in a classified ad.

Thanks a lot I read it and it is older than I thought. Really cool to find this and to know the history of this item.
