Looking for Galena oil signs, cans and other interesting items that might be for sale or trade. I've been a long time Cities Service collector, and have recently expanded my collection to include a few Galena oil items. I know there's not a ton of stuff out there, but I guess that helps to limit by buying. Let me know if anyone has anything for sale. I've attached a pic of a few items I have purchased over the past 6 months. Even if you don't have anything for sale, I'd love to see pics of what else might be out there if I ever get fortunate enough to run across it.

I don't have galena items but I do have a 69 like yours , but yours looks a lot nicer! You should put in the non petro show case for us .

Thanks Kevin. I guess not too many people out there responding with Galena oil stuff. Would love to find the 5qt version of the black and yellow can, along with the matching tin sign. Seen them both, but never had an opportunity to buy....

Yes I have. Actually the 3 qt cans and the qt bottle came from Don. He still has a few of the qts, full and very nice!

would love to have it, but am saving for some other things. if interested, hope you get it. If you like and are not going to Columbus or hershey, I can keep an eye out for you, of course, there would have to be two available to satisfy us both!! If only one out there, you lose!! lol.

Thanks for the heads-up Huskybob. I have not heard anything good from this seller either, and will probably shy away because of that. It is a nice can, and seem to be a few of these showing up on e-bay over the past few months.

I would love to see any other pics of Galena oil items that people have, even if not for sale. Does anyone out there have some pics to share?????

I was searching through some old posts, and found a picture that was posted last summer my a new member (only 2 posts), and none since. This is a sign that I am looking for. I have the matching sign for the Super Galena version.

Please let me know if anyone has this sign, or knows of one for sale. Would love to add to my small Galena collection.

Sandman, did you get the galena flange on matthews yesterday? It went for 275. I wanted to buy it, but am saving for something a friend has agreed to sell me. Hope you got the flange!

Kevin. I did not. I had that auction bookmarked and completely let it slip my mind yesterday or I would have bought it. Finally logged into the auction a couple hours too late. Bummer!!!! Wonder if anyone on here got it??? Condition looked pretty rough, but not one I had seen before.

I picked up a Galena Axle Grease can at Iowa Gas if you would be interested in it? Older 3 pound can, yellow and black, Galena Manufacturing Company from Galena Illinois.

Thanks for updating. Not sure about rob, but I am looking for galena of franklin pa since I spent a great deal of my childhood there. I appreciate your update for sure though! Hope Iowa gas was good to you!
