There were 6 total in this section of the building, 2 were like the one pictured, 2 were Standard Service (6x4) I think, and 2 were Standard Oil Company, all about the same size and condition besides the nice one I found yesterday. ALL have 9 holes where the 2x4 studs were attached. I will use my majic tomorrow to see how they are when cleaned up, also found a 30" iso-vis round dsp that is pretty rough along with a Atlas 5' vertical that looks like it was used as skateboard ramp, ugh!!! Oh well,I was still like a kid in a candy shop
. Don't give up on those old bulk plants guys!!! They haven't all been gone through.....yet, and if someone doesnt at least try to look around these old places chances are it will get scrapped. This experience was emotional to me because it was like gramps was right along there with me as he was the maintenance super in that building for Standard Oil for 30 years. Heck...far as I know he did this to these signs lol. I have 2 other brothers and plan on giving them each 2,which 2 would you guys keep, the Standard Service,The Standard Oil Company, or the Standard Oil ones like the one pictured? I am leaning personally to 1 Standard Service and 1 Standard Oil like the one pictured but I am still on the fence. I am not totally fluent on the exact value on these and don't care as they will remain with this family until I am long gone but I have a feeling the Standard Oil ones with the red line on each side are the rarest ones?
