I have a 14" heavy round Citgo wall hanging piece in raised gold with black background, has approximately 2" letters around the perimeter AUTHORIZED LUBRICANTS DISTRIBUTOR In the center is the Citgo shield and a likeness of an American Eagle in flight. I believe it is about 20 years old. Our Citgo representative presented us with the piece and then replaced it with another about a year later. I recall he stated that Citgo could not use the American Eagle, therefore we were to take it down and return it to him. Does anyone have any knowledge of this piece.

Believe they printed the eagle on a lot of their signs, advertisments etc. Fellow collector offer me some smaller sticky plastic coated magnets(?) few years ago with the eagle on them but I declined them. The year of using the eagle does ring a bell also.
