Hello,

My name is Chris, I'm 28, I work in a racing machine shop, and drag race every weekend I can. I just bought my first gas pump on Tuesday. It's a Bennett model 966, and is fairly complete, and best of all, it's 100% rust free. I've already got it stripped and gutted, and have began soda blasting the inner frame, and outer skins. My plan for this pump is to restore it to a Texaco theme, and present it to my Great Grandfather for his 94th birthday. He owned a local Texaco station from 1955-65. Hopefully, this will be the first of many pumps. I've always wanted some since being a kid. Anyways, found this site through a google search, an I'm glad I did. Here's a pic of the pump prior to taking it apart, and also a picture of my 69' Chevelle I race.
