It is the plastic version, I bought a lot of pure items from the man that had the pure station and this was out front hanging. Out of the collection this is one item I wanted bad.

60Wayne's little Pure cover reminded me that those were used to block off pump site glass holes when site glasses were removed. My first thread on Old-Gas: http://www.oldgas.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Main=47722&Number=301784#Post301784John (Tankar) Your killing me with your stuff!!!
Thanks Mike

My newest addition, and I see it was listed in new discoveries in the June PCM magazine.
Just remember John, I have a good idea where you live!! Just bring this stuff to Iowa in August and I lighten your load home...LOL
Thanks Mike

John (Tankar) Your killing me with your stuff!!! Sorry Mike, Then this one may hurt as well. Very rare lubester plate, I have never seen another, ...nice sign - if that's 15" in diameter, it's a truck sign...
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

John(Tankar): Is the lubester plate you have an 8 inch diameter sign? There was a picture posted in Check the Oil magazine a few years back that was an 8 inch. I think Mike Rhein was the one that had sent in the picture. By the way, nice sign....
