Looking for information on this sign(background and approximate value). It is over 6' from corner to corner. It has a metal art deco styled frame and its colors are nice and bright. Some minor surface rust on the left hand side. Thanks

Just finding that sign with it's original frame is INCREDIBLE. WOW! Awesome!

Nice sign
Petretti's 11th edition 2001 That sign is valued at $650 without the cool frame. Also without the rust. Book says it came in different versions. Without the frame the book measures it 48 3/4" x 38 3/4"
nice find, maybe some of the rust will clean off.

I believe you meant 48.3/4" x 48.3/4". It is square all sides equal....but displayed as a diamond shape.

That frame definitely looks period to the sign, but is it just the photo or does it look like it doesn't have damage in the same area the coke sign does? I've found that original frames can add 25-40% to Coca Cola pieces.

The silver would be an easy restore. Maybe that was done sometime in the past? That is a really good sign IMO. Really has impact. The damage does jump out though. I am usually against restoration on most stuff but if properly done it might not be a bad idea on this big guy. On the other hand a sign is only original once. I'm not trying to talk any one into anything, just making conversation.

This is an amazing sign! It is stunning with that large frame. It's a 1938 or 1939 i believe.

Here is what I believe is a picture of your sign in use, back in the day. I cant really tell if it was double sided and mounted on a pole, maybe?
