First item: Lollipop White Eagle ethyl driveway sign. Minor chips missing behind a few of the tabs but not visible when aligned. Has original cast iron base. Sign is a 9+ restored by Don Van Kannel. Looks gorgeous. Asking $1200.
Second sign: Octagonal hanging driveway sign--White Eagle Gasoline and Keynoil. Restored by Don Van Kannel in nice tube steel frame. Sign is not flat due to age. Gorgeous. Asking $600.
I do not believe that the signs are porcelain as they are from the early 1930s but I do not know what kind of paint Don Van Kannel used. They are not touched up but are restored.
I would not qualify these as museum pieces but they are very nice looking. White Eagle stuff is extremely hard to come by as you guys know.
Willing to trade for pumps/petroliana of equivalent value.
Can get them to Iowa Gas if we strike a deal in the next 10-12 days.
