Does anyone know about the Veedol Skater Girl. Is their more than one style of this sign, if so how rare are they? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Eric

Hi Eric, in Sweden where I live there are three different designs. Over here I should say the Veedol girls are "the least rare". More uncommon and popular are the "Continental Tires" girls and the "Semperit tires" girl. I believe the Veedol's are one of these types of signs that has been reproduced. I'll email a pic to the admin at Oldgas and hope they can show it here. regards Claes Sweden

Did Veedol make other versions of it's skater?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Eric

Here are the images that Claes sent to me to post on this forum topic. The image on the left is of original vintage signs, on the right (or below the first image) are known reproductions. Thanks for providing these, Fast66! ------------------ OldgasYour host and moderatorEdit to update image URL [This message has been edited by Oldgas (edited 03-24-2002).]

Eric, yes, there are actually two girls. Both wear a blue dress and hold an "R" sign. It advertises Continental tires on one of them , and just says R on the other. I have pictures, I fould one on the Fisogni museum site (from Italy, link is here on Oldgas)and one from a sale here in Sweden. Hopefully, pics are on their way. //Claes
