Got this Cleveland Electric Neon Aztec clock a little while back and its been at the clock repair man for quite a few weeks. I decided to leave the clock as found and I think it looks great on the dark wood wall in the living room. My wife on the other hand...it'll have to grow on her.
Mainly focused on Oilzum, Jenney, Harris Oil items & original paint gas pumps.

Got the Mobiloil oil drop sign and 1942 chart at the Thurs night Peotone auction. These items belonged to Wes Nilson who I shared many good times with at Peotone over the last several years. The chart was actually a gift I gave him at the show one year and he had it framed up for display. Got the Jenney and Vacuum Cup at the Fri. auction and bought the smalls at the show. Overall a great time.

Last week was great but hurried as I was getting ready for Peotone! I managed to snag these 2 old Bennett pumps done in Cities Service colors, and I got to see the old station and pad where they served most of their life! The last picture is the old station and you can see the remnants of the pad out front.
The cans were all stashed in the old fellows oil shed and were in good condition! The Warden was with me, so she grabbed up the cool old chair!

It was Tuesday, and I was leaving on Wednesday for Peotone, but I couldn't pass up a call on a visible pump stored inside for the last umpteen years! They didn't know what it was, but would sell it if the price was right! I couldn't stand the pressure, so I drove over to see what was there and was pleasantly surprised to find this all original and complete Butler 71!
It wasn't the Roman that I keep hoping for, but an awfully nice pump, just the same!
It was a pretty hectic week for pumps! LOL!

That is one good looking Butler Kevin!! Sheet metal had all been taken off except for the short piece shown, and was stored in the same barn as the pump. Sheet metal is perfect! Can't wait to get to it and clean it up a little, and put it back together!

Had a good past two days at Peotone. Got some good stuff and met some good people. Sinclair Power X from Kevin (NOS Lenses).  Mobilgas Special Globe:  Mobilgas Ethyl 16 1/2 NOS lenses:  Mobilgas Plates SST,PPP and Mobilfuel:  And a Gargoyle Litho Top can (Thanks Dave):

I added another Wayne 60 to my collection, that makes 3! I got a call from a gentleman who is a scrapper and this was heading to the junk pile! I believe that it never had the electricity conduit and piping for some reason?? Also at some point in time somebody removed the sight glasses and the assembly. So I will probably be looking for that!

Got this very nice double sided Esso sign. It is appr 47X31" (120X80cm). And a lead on a GB96C as well from the seller.

And stop and think of the whole story....You buy a pole sign from Kevin, I have to meet with Kevin on his way to Peotone to pick up a sign and see if he want's one I have. I see your thread and find out I have the pole you need!!!! All your planets were aligned for that deal!

I GUESS so!--I sold Mike a sign--I sold Bryce a sign--Mike sold a pole to Bryce--I bought a sign from Mike--I hauled Bryce's new sign and pole to Peotone after I picked it up in Minneapolis when I met Mike to deliver his sign and pick up my sign! That Indiana Ethyl globe is an awesome piece! When I saw it sitting on your table at Peotone I had to come over and see it myself!
Been fortunate to get some nice quarts lately thanks to Matthews Auctions and fellow Oldgas guys. The problem is that oil cans seem to multiply like rabbits! Oh wait, that's not a problem!
