Alex,
Just kidding on the offer. I have no idea what it would bring in a shop, maybe $400, maybe more? The uniqueness and size is what I like, stuff that everyone else does not have. I would just about guarantee you that you could make some money on it on ebay. Is it flimsy tin or pretty substanial?

It is flimsy tin. It also has some scratches, and it looks like someone maybe sprayed some lacquer on it as there is some flaking (not paint) going on as well. I am going to head to the library to see when the company it was shipped to was in business.
