"the face is new" hidden in the description is hardly being seriously upfront. It should be noted in the title that is advertising a "rare amazing condition clock". Looks to me that he did the bare minimum to not get his posting yanked off ebay.

Several sellers do this ,dmerk being one of the most prolific. Yeah,they disclose it,but like kz says.if you don't read it careful,you will get burned.and what about the next seller? Because of sellers like this,I will hardly give many Pam and other clocks a second glance,unless I know the seller.
Looking for gas,oil related clocks,especially neon and spinners .clock repair available. Mick

I agree , when there is such a long description you can be deceived , Most of the light up clocks from 50's and 60's if they don't have a new face they were never used much.
