Mike, I haven't seen the show in a while, but I think they were M&S 80's. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Howdy fins n vtwins,
Dwaine's on his way to the Dixie Gas Bash, & I leave next week too, but sounds good to me... HA!

If you have an idea for a lost Logo globe & decal, just get us a picture or tell us where to look for it so we can get to a art form to see if there is enough intrest to have some made.

The episode I seen recently Goober was pumpin petrol out of a Wayne 90. This was the episode where Goober thought his dog could talk. There was some earlier shows where there was Wayne 80's being used.

As a dedicated fan of this show... The pumps I recall more times than not at Goobers Station are MS 80's...

Guys, thanks, but the pumps I saw sorta looked like a Wayne 40 with some kind of protuberance sticking straight up where the globe should have been...
It was the episode in which the rich city guy's Lincoln broke down on Sunday and he HAD to get to the next town for business. Remember that one? I bout busted a gut hearin Gomer tell how Goober was a good mechanic--"souped up uh V-8 motor and put it in uh ol' rowboat--it'd do 80--that's FAYST on water!"

I enjoy looking for the out of norm or missed things in the show. Like the Flying A wheeled lubster. The black tape over the Mail Pouch tobacco thermometer to cover the advertising. The Coors truck that passes in the background. (suppose to be in North Carolina). A shot inside the station with the oil cans facing out and they walk outside and the oil cans are facing in. And that gas cart in the garage in "Barney's New Car".
Anyone know what brand those oil cans are? I would bet they were West Coast brands, not East. I haven't figured that one out yet.

Still .... Looking for more....
Chuck

Chuck.. You're right on. Those shows won't show a Brand Name without getting a "Sponsorship" from the Brand.
It is fun to watch as they they manipulate the labels on Branded Products, so as not to "Advertise" a product that is not paying for the exposure.
