I'd like to share a similar story about my 9 yr old son.
We went out to a farm to look at a tractor a couple of weeks ago and ended up coming home with a lubester and a couple of gas pump handles and a promise to return soon.
When we went back, I was busy loading up the 28 model A roadster body and my son was climbing on a tractor. I noticed how high up he was climbing on the tractor cab and told him to get down and he said, "but, Dad, Look at the signs! There are some signs in the ground over there."
The tractor in the background was the one he was climbing on.
These are the signs after we dug them out of the ground and before cleaning.
Here is the dirtiest one after cleaning and wax.
They are 1920s, SSP, 6foot wide signs! We got them for a low price because of condition when dug up and a friend of mine bought them both later that day! One for cash and the other for trade to get the above pictured antique full sized bed frame straightened, sandblasted and powder coated.
I'm soooo proud of my son for spotting those and it's not the first time that he has been with me on a run and pointed out something that I missed. He wanted a new game for his 3DS and he got it after that!!!
