So I stop by my insurance agents office to check on an insurance issue. As I was talking with him I noticed the red top of a globe sticking out from behind a copy machine on the counter. Asked if I could look at it - sure go ahead. Picked it up and could not believe what it was. Probably about as mint as you can get without finding one NIB. The guy said he had a client that brought it by who needed some money so he bought if from him to help him out. I asked if the insurance agent would sell it? Sure. The price? Bargain of a lifetime! Carefully walked back to the pick up with the globe clutched tightly to my chest. Still in a bit of disbelief over this deal.

Awesome Globe! So did you turn around after you bought it and tell him you needed to insure it for 4X's what you paid for it?

Marshall - the reason I was in his office to begin with was to check on updating my gas/oil collection insurance.
Might have to put the ripple in the category of "miscellaneous".
