Steve the signs intrigue me. On the back in the day picture you have "carless service" and "high test action". You can have some fun with those in the today shot as most stations give you careless service and that part of Detroit, if I read you right,has a lot of high test action-just not gasoline high test!

That's funny , this would apply to parts of St. Louis as well . I worked at a freightligner dealer one summer off Taylor ave in the late 90's , I learned to fill up down home as one station was constantly getting robbed and had plenty of high test action always going on!
