Here is a Shell display I finally completed. I had to search a while for the correct bottle to match the cardboard easel back display. Maybe you shell Guys can tell me what years they used the mustard yellow and red. I don't know if you had Shell Kleanzit in the US as the bottle and the display is marked Shell Oil Company of Canada.

...very nice stuff, I'm thinking late 1930's-early 1940's - but IS that the correct bottle? the lettering on the bottle is different than on the sign...I'm thinking the bottle might just be a little later than the sign...maybe the illustrator was taking liberties with the label?

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

Here I thought I had scored finding the right bottle to go with the display, and didn't notice the lettering was slightly different. Boy you guys are sharp.

If you want to make your hunt even more difficult, you can start to look for the even harder to find Canadian bottle which has Shell Oil Company of British Columbia Limited at the bottom. Happy hunting! Cheers, Don.
