To give you some perspective when they talk about the Hotel being the tallest building west of the Mississippi in 1934 and how the Pegasus could be seen from many miles away here are a couple of pics then and now. Also, added a pic of an original Pegasus in its natural state, the picture was taken in 1943 in Houston Texas; hard to tell if it is galvanized metal or porcelain. cool
