Recently I was in SoCal and visited with DB where he was kind enough to show me around SP including an outside tour of the Union Oil Company museum. I think they did not want the likes of us to grace their building! Actually the museum was closed for the day we were there despite DB's attempts to get it open for us.
DB's collection is well known to most but he also has a large collection of Union Oil ephemera and he was kind enough to give me three of the Red Line labels that are displayed.

I also am lucky enough to have a Union Oil gas gauge stick...

It is a little unusual though, for instead of being the normal wood gas gauge stick... It is made of cardboard and thankfully had never been used...

Single use only item! They were ahead of their time. I like the different levels for different tanks-company as well as round or square tanks.
Dick how small is your can BTW? Good things do come in small packages evidently!

Fred I can't hide anything from you. The Aristo can is probably 1930s. Union Oil of Canada was bought out by British American in 1946. They did come back later as Union Oil of California. The Iowa showcase was bought long ago from minuteman's office when you could afford to buy out of there. Of course he was a lot younger then, lol. Cheers, Don.
