Looks like a very nice job. Don't think I ever saw a pump like that in person. Must have been hard finding new/ replacement parts for it. Not like you could pick up a Vics 66 catalogue. Post more pictures of you collection, looks like some interesting stuff in the background

I was very lucky in that most of the parts where there. Usual things wrong, beat lower sheet metal, broken glass and sight glass, had to completely redo the electrical and redo the face plates and numbers. I got it from a good friend of mine and he came over to check it out and we were trying to figure out how long I had it. To our best guess it's close to 18 years. But it was pretty rough when I started.

Don't know if this will help you but here is the pic I took as they were before I restored them. My first choice would to leave them original but they would have looked out of place had I not. Hope this helps.

Thank you all for your complements. The computer has all of it's number dials and even the original lock and key which I will take pics of tomorrow and upload. It is probably one of my more favorite pumps but each one I have brings a special personality to my mind. Done4.

To my surprise the keys were still in the lock. That is maybe only the second time in all of the pumps I have done that has happened. The number plates that was exposed to the elements were barely visible or not even there, so I recreated only patches that would be seen through the window and left the dials in their original condition. A simple rotating cover would allow the gas station attendants to take the daily reading without having to open the top cover. The bezel detail blew me away when I first saw the pump. I normally like to keep my pumps restored as close to the originals as possible but I just had to show off the great detail.
