'The Simpsons' predicted Super Bowl XLVIII in 2005 The line on Super Bowl XLVIII is the Broncos by -2.5, with a total score of 48, according to The Linemakers, but let it be known that "The Simpsons" called their shot on this one way back in 2005.

I find it funny that both teams that are playing in the Super Bowl come from states were marijuana is legal. Do you think instead of the traditional post game locker room celebration with everyone chugging champaign. This year they are going to pass around a bunch of huge celebratory doobies.

I have Manning yelling "OMAHA" 46 times and Sherman getting a pass interference call within the first 15 minutes.

In related news Nebraska stops sponsoring Peyton and Iowa steps up with the dollars. So you'll hear "Council Bluffs" instead! Or not. At least the crowd will be louder on Denver's offensive possession so you may not hear OMAHA at all.

I was born and raised in Denver and my Dad was a Broncos season ticket holder for a couple of decades in the old Mile High Stadium. I will never forget the games I attended with him! The Seahawks are my adopted team and if they were facing ANY other team, I would be rooting for them! If the most improbable happens and the Broncos loose to them, I will be happy for the Seahawks for getting their first Super bowl trophy but it will sting a lot. It should be a pretty good game to watch!

I am a browns fan too and I know where JimT is coming from there. But I think Manning is one of the best and go with Denver for the win.

He absolutely is. And as much as I hate to admit it. Elway wasnt a bad quarterback himself.Truth be told, I believe he was an amazing quarterback. Some fan bases have no idea how fortunate they are to have a team that consistently contends.

I know he doesnt have the resume and hall of fame career that Peyton does. But, i think Russel Wilson is alot of fun to watch. He reminds me of Doug Flutie or even Brett Favre. Dont get me wrong. Peyton could very easily be the best quarterback of all time. Im pretty sure if he wins Sunday, that is what most will consider him to be. I think its gonna be a low scoring game though. Best defense in NFL against the best offense. Only time will tell.

Jim one of my favorite football memories of Cleveland also involves a winter playoff game and a star QB. In the late 60s Joe Capp of the Vikes lumbers around the end and knocks out the would be tackling linebacker. That set the tone of the game and the Browns were done. He wasn't fast but he was tough. So tough he later became (in)famous again for having a brawl with another aging CFL star on the podium at an awards dinner. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JrkEROiQsa8

Sherman getting a pass interference call within the first 15 minutes. Receivers could file assault charges against that dude for all the stuff he pulls. But oh, yeah....he's the best - and doesn't mind telling you that!
