I have read the older post about cleaning Filpruf's but i am having a hard time getting them squeaky clean.
Any other ideals on getting them spotless inside. I have the ring inside about 2" inches up on 4 bottles. I was able to get the crud off the bottom with some KrudKutter and dawn but cant get the rings of oil off.

Any help is appreciated. I am currently soaking them in goo gone.
I have tried brake cleaner, acetone, dawn, putting sand in them and swishing as an abrasive but still have a ring...

Thanks
Dan

If all that doesn't work try a product called Oil Eater, I get/got it from Costco or look online. Stuff is incredible !! makes other cleaning products obsolete, It literally "eats" the oil LOL. And It's safe on painted items, skin, cloths etc. I use it almost daily. And no I don't own stock or anything LOL

Zep purple degreaser (Or maybe other purple degreasers too) is the strongest stuff I've ever used. It will even take paint off if you use it straight. You can buy it at Home Depot, Loews, ect.

Dan those are so clean and while they are in the kitchen you can use them for balsamic vinegar, olive oil and probably even beer.

Beer, well enough...
The insides are not perfect but better. I used the Purple power degreaser. I had it here at the house anyways.
Going to try the Coke next as i still have a slight ring in a few of them.
Thanks for the help

Fred,
My wife hates this stuff with a passion in the kitchen... Wonder what she would do if i filled one and used it? You guys would probably see a lot of my collection for Sale!! She would kill me and sell the stuff!!
