My son gave me an empty SAE 30 Northland oil qt. can with great color, very little rust, except for the bottom, he found while helping his wife's grandfather move in to town from the farm. The can has Northland (in script)in red letters boarderd with white. The background is black. The words "Motor oil" and "Waterloo, Iowa" are in white letters. Northland Products Company is printed in red. The Pennsylvania oil seal is black and white. Can anyone can give me history on this company and an approximate age and value of the can?
Thanks for your help!
Rod
