I purchased a Wayne pump that was from a Blakely Service Station in Arizona. I am trying to finish the restoration, but am unable to find anyone that has decals for Blakely. Even worse, I cannot even find anyone that has a photo or image of thier logo. I would like to see if anyone has any image of the Blakely logo that I could use to have reproductions made. Also I am interested in anything that is of Blakely, other that the glassware.

Here is a page with photos of a Blakely's in Scottdale during the 50's. Their logo was a rocket. Go to: http://www.acmeron.com/puhs/puhs_page_4.htm

I appreciate the link. I have seen these photos and was hoping for a closer up view, but I am trying to work with them.

AZKuhlMan:
It appears that the image on the pumps is modeled after the sign in the photo blakely%2051%20ford.jpg (or vise-versa). If this is the case, there is enough information there for me to re-create a decal for you.
If you're interested, drop me a line and we can discuss it. I'm off the computer on the weekends - but I'll get back with you on Monday if you miss me today.
Later . . .

I have a photo of my pump with a fairly good logo on it, but I am not sure how to attach it or paste it to this reply. Let me know how I can get this to you.
Maybe you could creat a logo set from the photo.

Guys and Gals. Here's the decal I did for AZKuhlMan. As I've said before, if you need a custom decal created, just shoot me an e-mail with a couple of images attached and I can usually come up with something for you. I give special pricing to Oldgas members so the artwork won't cost you an arm or a leg. Later . . . Jim
