Just picked up this cut down Erie. I want to keep it and stretch it back out. Can anyone help me with photos of a correct pump, parts? Does anyone reproduce the upper skins? What model do I have? Looks like possibly a 20. Thanks, Mike

How have you determined it was cut down, does it have marks where it was cut? I can't dispute it, but are you sure it isn't a commercial pump? Jack Sim Author, Gas Pump Identifiation book

Well, first of all it is not technically cut. The top is just sitting on there. The metal just above the mid section is turned up about a 1/2" or so and you can see the holes where the upper skins once bolted to. The second reason I know is because the former owner told me that he shortened it himself many years ago. He threw away all the clock mechanism and panels, etc. He showed me where he drilled the new hole for the hose etc. He did this because he carried this pump on the back of his farm truck. I have another neighbor who has this type pump that is actually a commercial one. I went and carefully looked at it to compare. His top and base are shaped the same but not nearly as tall. His pump does not have the mid section either, just the top bolted down on the straight metal.

PS Notice my globe holder as well. The commercial version that my neighbor has does not have this either.

I can get the upper skins made. I just need someone to tell me how tall the upper skins are and if both side pieces (flat metal) screw on or if one or both is hinged. Like to have some measurements of where to place the nozzle hanger, hose outlet, all the cutouts, etc.
