Thank's for all the positive replies. Now if I can interest the wife in restoring one that she likes , we would be heading forwards pump heaven !

Thanks Kurt . Was a great LONG winter project for me . Made me appreciate how much effort and thought goes into a restoration to get it right.Can only imagine how much efforts goes into the restoration of the older pumps by the more experienced guy's on the site. My hat's goes off to those who have restored the really old ones.
