Every Roman owner needs the lamp post to go with their pump. Most pump companies offered other accessories for stations to go with their pumps. Since there has been some talk about romans and roman skins lately, I thought I would share the pic of my lamp post. I wonder what the skin would be worth for patch panels?

Yours Isn't the 1st I've seen. A friend in Colo. had/has 2 & another friend has 2. The last ones appear to have Brass outer sheet metal w/ the fixture holders [leaf like]. Markings around base are the same as the pump base casting, different dia & curve [pump cover doesn't fit].

I have the same fluted columns with the copper on the outside. Two different sizes. Are you saying that the base of those poles might have had the same base as a Roman ? The two you have pictured here, are they roman bases or light pole bases?

Those are lamp post bases. Same in design as Roman bases but not the same dimensions.

The Roman has 3 access covers, these Lamp Poles have 1. These round bases have the Exact same design as the Romans, ie; Flutes in body, Rings on Base, X's, Ribs, Access Doors [Note the raised area on back of door for lock & Tabs at bottom]. I suspect that WAYNE had this company make these poles to match the pumps, instead of WAYNE making more dies/tooling/castings.

I believe that to be the case. Would like to find a cover for my base.

I used to have some, sold them to a guy in Nebraska that sells old street lighting with a truck load of other parts. He sometimes advertises on ebay under street lights.
