And this last one arrived around noon, today... And if you guys don't mind...

This one includes a Story, that I will try and keep short. (remember, I said try....)

A few months ago, Mick (Oldnfuelish) and I were PMing about Clocks... Since I had picked up the marquee, that finally attached itself to Mick's Neon Clock... (after a trip From Washington State to British Columbia to Illinois)

I had like the idea of finding a Tydol/Flying A Clock... I realized rapidly that what I had was a "pipe dream". There was/is no way possible for me to buy an "original" clock on my budget... So I sold the marquee to Dave...

But, I still kept an eye out for clocks... Occasionally I would see one that I thought Mick might be interested in...

Mick, asked me a couple of times my "impression" of different Flying A clocks... One clock we talked about, was beat like a "rented Mule"... The face on the poor thing was cracked and beaten... It could only "be loved by someone who was nuts"...

Yep, you guessed it... My Mailman delivered a large box to me... I must have had that famous "Deer in the Headlights, look"... Because my Mailman said, "You weren't expecting this"? I shook my head no, and wondered what was in the box and who sent the box?

The box was from Mick and inside was a great note... And deeper inside was.... The clock that Mick told me, he had forgotten to bid on and a clock that I thought was lost....

I had to move the large Chevron sign, to mount the clock... (the Chevron sign is safe, Mike! It is now outside of the back door to the House under the overhang)

And now the clock, lights up... The second hand moves. Because of the cracks and breaks in the clock face, the hour hand drops to 6 once it passes 12... But, man do I love this Clock... LOL

Mick, Thank You again, my friend!!

The Clock, fits right in with the rest of my "vintage hole in a wall Gas Station look"!!!! LOL

the walls looking better and better, I almost told you a while back that the Chevron sign just did not look right there and you needed to ditch it. Glad I zipped my lip.

For those that wonder what these clocks, looked like "in the day"?

Here is a different version/logo of the Flying A Tire Clock... But the clock itself is the same...
