First of all, Your horse is a beauty! It brings to mind how one day years ago, my wife and I were driving down the street in Seattle, Wa. while on vacation in our motor home. Out of the corner of my eye, I spotted a neon pegasus through the windows inside of an old commercial building up on the 2nd or 3rd story. Well, needless to say, we had to stop and investigate. That led to the meeting of Jeff Pederson and his invitation to view his "General Petroleum" Museum. The pegasus was a rotator inside and could be seen for miles. You might be making a mistake selling the best advertising ever for bringing customers into your little towns museum?
My other thought, is that if this is a must sell, then maybe you are missing the boat by not having a video somehow attached to this auction. There would not be a better way of showing potential customers how someone's eyes would turn green with envy! Good luck with your community support.

Don I really don't want to sell. That's why the price is high. If it's not close it won't sell. Of all my collection this is my favorite item. I wish I could put a video on ebay . I have had to send one to several people.

Jefferson,
I can only imagine the kind of attention this BEAUTY would get at a Barrett-Jackson Auction!
IMO, it would steal the show!

Randy, Thanks for the photo, as usual! This thread would not mean much without it. Hen

Found it in Texas. As far as restoration we updated the base put on a new rotator and neon but other than that I didn't touch the sign . Not a big believer in touching up signs . This one didn't need it anyway has good gloss.
