Thought I would post this...I just came across this Repop Gulf PPP ...Never had seen one before...Now we have to becareful with these type plates.. Ebay # 400554450853 Gulf Repop plate

At least it is relatively simple to point out what makes it a reproduction. These are common signs, so there is no lack of authentic ones to compare it to.

Hen No they will not. No Reason to remove. He listed it correctly.
Quart and Liter can relidding and dent removal services.PM for detail and pricing.

Don't get me wrong. I am for "reporting" sellers that try to pass new stuff as originals. Kudos to the folks that do that!

I just wanted to show the reproduction plate and to be careful of them out there... Educating people on fake signs, isnt that what we are supposed to do?

You can point out everyone of the Fantasy/Repo's & some fool will step up & buy a fake [ebay/auction/vendor/etc], you'll never educate all of them [Look how many times has the Brooklyn Bridge has been SOLD?].
Look at how many times someone asks for Oil Company Paint Codes in General Discussion & yet someone almost weekly will ask!

Yeah Dick, I hate to say it but your right...But if we can educate just a couple its worth it... I have learned a lot from Oldgas thanks to all the posts from everybody.
