I am finishing a Gulf pump made by Erie and have been unable to find the door glass. The opening is 13"x10.5".
I need to know where to buy the glass and rubber gasket or need to know how much smaller to make the glass so there is room to fit in the opening with the gasket.....

Thanks,
Dennis

The pump uses regular s channel. Hold up cardboard to the opening and mark the window pattern thru the opening. Install the rubber then measure the area across both ways into the channel where the glass fits. "Bingo"....you now have the glass size and shape. Reduce pattern to match the window sizes that you measured. Any good local glass shop can cut double strength glass to fit, using your pattern. This was a good question. Many guys on here think they need to go to a big parts supplier, when in fact you do it yourself! Paul www.severngaspumps.com

The 1 Exception to that [on some pumps] is IF the glass has a CURVE to it.
For all w/ Flat Glass, any glass shop can cut it for you.
