Hi what is the best way to rebuild the tokheim 39's calculator. How do I clean it? Get it turning etc...

If it's not worn out, I use WD-40 and a air hose.You might have to do it more than once to get all the dirt out.

I take my meters to a local engine rebuild shop and have them "Cook" them out in their automated parts cleaning machine. They use a degreaser at high temperatures with spray nozzles to wash them out. It works great and I have yet to have one not come clean. You will have to replace the numbers though as it takes them off too.
