Chastises questioner for not reading the words "reproduction" and "reissue" in his ad, while this piece of garbage is neither and the text in his ad leads one away from that fact. However, it was taken from VERY rare, ORIGINAl artwork......

Looks like they even put a date "4-54" at the bottom to deceive.... Next guy will buy it and age it but leave the date alone and then the next guy will say its original look at the Date.

It IS listed as a "reproduction",so in that respect he is being honest!

It is not a reproduction, nor is it a reissue (re means done again-this was never done in the first place), and I seriously doubt there was any original(other than the fact that I it seems to have been copied from an "original" logo found on a map) art work used. It is plainly and simply a fantasy. I believe it is marked "14"and he states that it is marked. However, his prose deflects attention away from what it is by focusing on the hooey about the materials and production methods being sooooooooo superior to others'.
I do not know the seller, nor am I impugning his integrity. All my opinions and comments are about this particular item.

I agree John, clearly marked reproduction and dated,, all the things that everyone complains about, I for one wouldn't know if this sign was ever made before, meaning years ago, all the repro police on OLDGAS must not be able to read...or want to take the time to read.. I say leave the guy alone..

As far as I know, no one has bothered the guy. This is not one of those "report the seller" deals. It is simply about the item.
