As quite a few of you know, I seem to gravitate to smalls, especially paper... They are cheaper than cans, globes, pumps etc.... And most have outstanding graphics....

My "newest" items are; Associated Oil Pacific Coast League Football Schedules... I only have a few of them so far. But the one's I have, range from 1928 to 1956...

I noticed that more than a few Oil Company's produced similar Program Booklets and other items that related to "early Football"; for Teams/League's in their Territories...

Do any of you, collect these booklets and cards? If so, I hope you will share some images of what you have...

The booklets I have so far:

And, here are a small selection of images, I found on Ebay:

I just won this pinback:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-FLYING-A...N-/201079553503

It was given away during the same general time period (1932/33) as the "Football shaped" Associated Flying A Aero Gasoline advertising from above...

(front side of the Flying A Aero Gasoline "football")

This took me a few years to put together, I have some baseball programs too but they're a lot bigger. Also have 28 and 29 football schedules stashed around here somewhere.

Love the schedules! Impressive collections!

I have a few sports petro smalls mixed in my collection. No close-ups of specific items unfortunately. Quite a few blotters out there as well. Atlantic, Gulf, Richfield just to name a few.

There is also a series of decals from out west, sponsored by Standard oil I believe. Each Pacific Coast team had one UCLA, Cal, Stanford, Oregon etc.. I only have one in the photo (in front of yellow varnish can)
