There is a 24" Canadian round porcelain single-sided Texaco sign. Mine is stamped P & M 47 (Porcelain & Metal Signs, 1947). The mounting holes are in different position from mine. Cheers, Don.

So did anyone here buy it ? I was going to go and look at it today or Mon. (just for fun)and to get a better look to see if there were any maker markings or date...should there not be one ?, from the photos provided I couldn't see any.

The mounting holes are in the wrong place on the ebay offering and if Canadian it should be marked P & M. I have the 18" version, mounting holes as Don's, is marked P & M 56 and as was mentioned above it was used as a truck sign.

Every 24 inch and 18 inch i have seen all had the mounting holes in the same place (like don's pictured) and all are marked P&M with a date.
Which leads me to suspect the authenticity of the one sold on ebay...thx mm
