Either that center piece of glass has been replaced, or the maker did a little bit of sloppy work when the piece was produced? The red in that particular piece seems off just a little too?

Im not sure that this one is as old as some may think. There were some re made ones late 80 s, early 90 s. I used to stare at one at an old station above the door for years and the lead in the field was wider than this one. It may be legit, but I would have to see it in person to see the etching of the glass and the aging of the lead.
