Is it a original reverse painted advertising piece or new pop...what was a item like this used for

So frame and everything is original what was it used for description said glass from a pump by this is way bigger just wondered were it went...just a sign?

one lens of globe on pump. Go to oldgas globe pics off of portal page. You will find it. No the wood was added.

My fear new owner will use this one to produce another then the holder which would be easy to fab up. Buyers beware!

Sorry wasn't clear any newer members on portal page you will see gas station albums,click on more like this and it will take you to different pic albums.

I don't know worth. Being its a lens of a globe that wasn't designed to be taken apart I don't rate it at what it sold for.
But my money may be harder to come by then other collectors.
Sure others will disagree.

At top of any page Select PICTURES, then SELECT GLOBES

I agree w/ Loyd, lenses were in a specialty made steel body, NO WOOD.
