  I don't like letting this one go but that's part of why I'm here and I need to save up for a special/rare Flying A piece! 30"X60" STANDARD FLAMO GAS-EQUIPPED CABINS Single sided porcelain sign from the 1930s. This one was retrieved back in the late 70s/early 80s, from under the Standard bulk plant in Enumclaw Washington! Nice color and decent gloss, as can be seen in the pics. All original grommets are in the holes but some are bent up and there is some chipping of the porcelain around some/most of the holes but not all. Also some chipping around the edge but the main field of view is in very good condition! No bends or extra holes either! $2600 carefully crated, insured for that amount and shipped to you in the lower 48! $2500 if you pick it up/have it picked up from my Shoppe. Just so no one thinks I'm hiding anything from potential buyers or the members, I recently posted this, http://cheesepitstop.com/viewtopic.php?t=12843 about this sign fully detailing what I did to this sign after I cleaned it, after getting it home, and found it to have a haze or sun fade and Bag Balm, and possibly the combo of it and the wax I use, brought out a deep color and gloss that I thought had been lost on this sign.

Thanx Ray and Doug! I just saw it a little while ago, and it's still looking great a full week later. Randy: I could see trying to use the grommet holes for the neon but it would have to be drilled for the perches at least and there is no way I could bring myself to do it to this one! The 6' Texaco DSP is another story because there are so many of those around but this one is not common at all. Anyone can feel free to buy it and do it to it tho.

The neon stands were screwed on in the grommet holes. There was no holes to have the neon itself come out of. Bordered it only.

Craig, That would be very cool as long as no new holes!(because I really like this one too!) What color did they use for the neon border? I'm guessing red, and was it the same size sign? It's something that I could have the local neon guy do and I could have my fabricator buddy make a can for it and LIGHT IT UP! I have a picture of this sign there and they used clear red and clear blue. Looked great as you looked up. No new holes were used.
