being aware numerous parties sell a "capco" type or style of colored plastic, gas globe shell and as it appears their are at least two slightly different versions .. would like to know who actually... makes these various plastic shells ..

There are 4 different entities that I know of that own molds and are actively making a plastic 13.5" globe body. They are as follows (and again, this is just what I am aware of):

1. Myself=Vic's '66'
2. Gas Pump Heaven
3. Weber's Nostalgia
4. Time Passages

I recently paid for a 'fit-fixture' to be made for my bodies to go on after they are pulled from the injection-mold. The ones that fit on the fixture go in the box, the ones that don't go in the trash. Hopefully, this cuts down on warped bodies that don't fit.
