There are all sorts of motivations to collect. Many collectors come to an epiphany point, where they shift to collecting for quality rather than quantity. They then go for the unusual, the very graphic designs, the mint condition, etc. More power to you if you can do both, amassing both quantity and quality.

If it's 2 gallon cans you have chosen as your passion and you want to have the largest collection of them then go for it and enjoy.

I certainly have been trying. Most of my 500 cans are of graphic quality. I love this hobby, and collect for that reason, I simply wanted to know what the largest 2 gallon collection out there is.

Luke, with 500 2-gal cans... I imagine, that you have to be in the "top handful" or atleast pretty close...

2 gallons take up so much more space; than 1 Qts, 1 gallon, and even 5 Qts... And for most of us, space is at a premium. So most of those that I know that have some 2 gal cans; only have a few... I think I have less than a half dozen or so, myself...

Just a matter of getting a digital camera. Once I get one, likely within the next few weeks, I will put a post in the General Petroliana discussion showing my display.
