I'm in the process of restoring a Gilbarco 3000 Series pump (made in Great Britain) from the late 50s or early 60s. I have decided to make it in the Caltex brand. And need photos and/or info on coloor and decals for this pump in the 60s.

Welcome aboard Bippe. You can start here, not a lot, but a few good shots.... Although these pumps are in the "new" colors, the sign, might be of some help. http://www.gassigns.org/caltex.htm I wish I had more, but I haven't got to deep into the Caltex stuff....
Anything Chevron I'd rather be flying.....

Bippe:
Do a search, under search words put in caltex, under search by user name enter fast66, search under Non-Petro Disscussion and Showcase... You'll find a thread dated 11-21-05 by Claes in Sweeden. Full of photos and you'll be able to email him from there.
Maybe someone on this site can put this in Bippe's thread, i don't know how and my better half is out spending the money !!! ha-ha
Hope this helps ?
Doug

Hi Bippe, welcome to another collector from Europe! There is a nice website on a caltex collection, check out www.caltex.nu, you will get some ideas for your pump. My next project will also be Caltex, an old oil cabinet.
