Looking at a clock locally similiar to the one I took a photo of from liveauctioneers. Its identical in every way but its missing the Oilzum man insert. Was this an insert attached to the top center of the hands? If this was a removable insert...do they make or has anyone made a replacement?

Here is the clock in question. Not sure if its a repop or an original missing the emblem?

Easiest way to attach would be inside outer glass.

if its local, then when you look at it... just reach thru the bulb door on the back and feel the backside of the glass. it should be chalky to the touch if original, and there should be no shelving feel to the numbers, etc.

the face of the dial is not in question, the face logo would have been on inside of the outer dome glass. separate from the V logo

It's possible orginal glass (if clock is original)was broken and replaced. Doubt logo was" removable" have a vinyl guy print it reverse.

Ok, so it was a sticker on the original just placed inside the outer glass. Looking at the backside of the unit it looks ok to me. Just couldnt figure why the face was missing and what it was made of.

Email the measurement for Diameter & Jim can take meas. off of image above. Since it'll be a Repop image it doesn't need to be exact.
